Touring this house reminded me of how important it is for every home to have a wow factor. The wow factor can be pretty much anything that creates a surprise for your guests. A million dollar view, a piece of art, a meticulously manicured garden, or an all-white marble kitchen. For me, the wow factor was the two-story light fixture (pictured above). It was hung from the top floor and traveled all the way down, past the stairs and into the first floor. Enormous solid-glass (?) spheres were lit from within and suspended by long silver chains. Beautiful and fun at the same time!
The rest of the house was equally fun to see. On the inside, it was extremely light and sparsely furnished. It reminded me of being in an art gallery. White, blue, and grey are the predominant colors used throughout the home.
There was a pop of color with magenta pillows thrown casually on a wooden bench. But, for the most part, as you scroll through these photos, you’ll see a soft neutral palette with white-washed wood. I hope you enjoy the photos!
