My son’s class is having a Valentine’s Day party today and he asked me to make homemade cupcakes to share with his classmates. There’s nothing better than a sweet treat to make the day even more special! Instead of decorating 20 cupcakes in the same way, we chose three different styles for a more festive presentation. I came across these paper cupcake liners months ago, but knew that I want to use them for a special occasion. I like the fact that they are taller and stronger than the typical cupcake liners and I love the pink and white stripe. These Valentine’s Day cupcakes are made from a vanilla cake recipe that calls for real vanilla bean, I’ve found that it greatly enhances the flavor – if you look closely you can see the vanilla specks in the cupcakes!
