It’s a new year! Before I look ahead to 2016, I want to look back. This year has been the most challenging and rewarding of my life. Launching a lifestyle blog was the hardest thing I ever loved. When people ask me why I started a lifestyle blog, I tell them that I didn’t feel like I had a choice. When you are passionate about something, whatever it is, it needs to come out. This blog is a creative outlet for me to share ideas and inspiration about living stylishly, whether it’s feeling good about your home, your wardrobe or your life. My goal is to bring fresh new content that’s fun and interesting and introduce you to tastemakers who are paving the path here in Connecticut and beyond – and have fun along the way!
Before my first blog post was published, I made two non-negotiable commitments. The first was that I would blog every day for an entire year. The second was that my hobby would not take time away from my family (hence some late nights that turned into mornings). Over the past year, I like to think that my writing and photography has improved – but I’m always striving on getting better. For those of you who have joined me from my first blog post to today – thank you! You’ve been witness to the evolution of Connecticut in Style, and I appreciate your loyalty as I strive to be better with every post.
