Hello Monday! I want to kick off the week with this stately southern home featured in the Atlanta Homes magazine. Designed by Suzanne Kasler (Ballard Designs contributing designer) this home uses her self-proclaimed signature color, white, as the backdrop to most of the rooms. Thankfully, there are a few exceptions to the white. A gorgeous soft blue, that feels ethereal and pops of a pretty coral.
Despite the size and grandeur of the home, the overall interior design feels cohesive. White or off-white wall color is always a safe bet. However, you will see that she pulls in the blue and coral in small details such as throw pillows, and piping on the stools in the kitchen. Gold accents are predominantly featured in every room which also helps to unify this stately house.

As you browse through the photos, be sure to check out the powder room. The wallpaper is amazing! I love finding a major surprise in small rooms, like bathrooms. It reminds me of the recent Near and Far Aid Designer House Tour with the coolest Flamingo wallpaper in the master bathroom (see below). We haven’t stopped talking about this fabulous Beach Party House.

The 1920s house in Buckhead, Atlanta was restored by the architect firm, Spitzmiller & Norris. The house features stunning architecture and an elegant interior. Classic southern style! Enjoy the photos.
