I love winter, I really do. But with all this white snow piled everywhere and evergreen leaves shriveled up against the bitter cold, I’ve forgotten what spring looks like. We still have many weeks to go before the ice melts and the first tiny buds appear and I am in need of a reminder that green will eventually come. We have a modest garden at our home that I look forward to tending ever year and it is always a work in progress. Plants need to be moved to make way for others and annuals are invited for the summer. As soon as the local nurseries open for business I pay Oliver a visit. Oliver Nurseries and Design Associates in Fairfield, Connecticut is an award-winning company that covers the entire range of gardening needs from selling a 3″ potted plant to complete landscape transformation, the ones that require bulldozers. The Nursery itself is GORGEOUS, it is so thoughtfully designed you feel as if you are walking in a botanical garden. I love it when companies start at home first and make their business image reflect their style. Enter below for a little preview of spring.

A photo of Oliver Nurseries, they have little green wagons for plants and children alike.
