I have a thing for blue and white. And while it is true that there are many other color combinations that I adore, the classic pairing of blue and white is my favorite. Just peek in my closet and look around my home. In addition to a dozen items of clothing, I have curtains, pillows, and ginger jars in various patterns of blue and white.
When I found this pretty blue and white blouse from Romwe, I fell in love with its versatility and ridiculously low price! You can wear it “as is” with a wide neckline – or show off those tanned shoulders by converting it into an off-the-shoulder top. Honestly, I’m not entirely sure if it was designed to do this, but I think that it is so cool that can be worn in two different ways.
Blue and white are unfailingly bright and fresh, it instantly looks cheerful and makes me feel happy. This blouse has cute tie sleeves (adjustable for different arm sizes) that end above the elbow. It is long enough to wear tucked in or out and belted if you want to wear it with a white or blue skirt. One of the things that drew me to this top is the fabric. Not just because of the fabulous color combo, I really like the pattern. The stripes are not all the same size and I think it makes it look more expensive than the $12 price point.
P.S. The gorgeous white hydrangea are from my neighbor’s garden. She let me take as many as I like and I was able to make a couple of arrangements for my home.

Over a year ago, I blogged about how excited I was that off-the-shoulder came back in style (here’s the post if you missed it). Thankfully, this trend has continued and I think has staying power for awhile longer. Click HERE to browse for off-the-shoulder tops from Romwe. Their prices are so reasonable and the quality is great. While you are on their website, be sure to check out the items they have with ruffles – so cute and flirty!
I am going to blog about fall’s fashion trends when I get back from holiday, so stayed tuned and look for that post in mid-September. I will give you a little teaser – anything with stylish sleeves is something that you need to look for.
