Happy Friday! Today’s post is the finale in a week-long series dedicated to the “Rooms With a View” designer showhouse. I hope that you have enjoyed seeing all the fabulous rooms, I’ve certainly been inspired! I’m super excited to attend this event again next year and I know that it will be just as amazing. When I look back on the previous posts of this week (click here, here and here) I am struck at how vastly different each vignette was. The designer’s all interpreted the theme “Home for the Holidays” in their unique and stylish way and I feel like we were given a small glimpse into their personalities and what “home” means to them. It was so much fun and such a privilege to cover this event for the Southport Congregational Church. For a complete list of the 2015 designers, click here.
P.S. Cold weather is here and it is time to really protect your skin! There are just a few days left to enter for a chance to win a FREE skincare gift set from Kat Burki, a gift for you or someone you really love (if you can part with it)! It contains their Ocean Mineral Gel Cleanser 4.4 oz. and her best-selling Vitamin C Intensive Face Cream 1.7 oz. (a $134.00 value). Click here to enter! I hope that you have a wonderful weekend.
BOLD & DRAMATIC
Jill Kalman, of Bella Interiors is the designer of the bold and dramatic space. Serena & Lily wallpaper sets the stage for this chic, modern vignette with pops of bright red.
{Many of the elements in this space are from Jonathan Adler’s Westport, CT store}
{Loving this custom-made ombré fabric bench}
{I LOVE this champagne glass, I am obsessed with gold polka dots!}
SOFT & ROMANTIC
The next vignette was designed by Raquel Garcia. This room captured me immediately at first because of the anemone in the floral arrangement. Is there anything more beautiful than anemone?
Everything in this room shimmers from the metallic wall hanging to the glittering tree branches that are lit with tiny white lights, the entire space GLOWED. The photos of the flowers are my favorite, it really captures the essence of this soft and welcoming room that I would love to come home to.
