Charter Club/boat-neck top, Gap 1969 jeans, Frye boots
Dear Mother Nature,
What the…? We went from summer to winter in like two days. It was warm, sunny and gorgeous on Friday (I have the photos below to prove it) and on Sunday it was s-n-o-w-i-n-g. My ferns, that I was planning on moving inside, got bitten to death by Jack Frost and quite frankly I’m a little miffed that you didn’t give us the courtesy of some transition time. Luckily, we were able to pick out our pumpkins while the weather was still warmish! We went to Sherwood Farm where they offer old fashioned pumpkin picking right from the fields. I knew that we’d be walking in hay and dirt so I pulled out my Frye boots, jeans and Charter Club top that I absolutely love. I bought it in the spring and it is one of those items in my closet that I always feel good in. If you haven’t gotten your pumpkins yet, here is a link to a website that lists all the pumpkin patches in Connecticut.
