Last weekend, I was in Sarasota, Florida where the weather is warm and sunny and gorgeous – and so are the people. On our last night, we strolled around the downtown area and came across a live outdoor latin music festival. I loved the fact that people were dancing in the middle of the street so we stayed on the sidewalk to watch. Minutes later, some very friendly strangers took us by the hand (I think they knew we were tourists) and pulled us into their party. We got on-the-spot lessons on how to do the Salsa and tried not to embarrass ourselves. Most of the women were wearing dresses or peasant tops with shorts and I loved the bohemian vibe. There’s something sexy about a feather-weight top that’s all flowy and soft and perfect for warm summer days and nights. A quick tour around Anthropologie proved that they love peasants tops too, my favorites are the ones with the embroidery.
