Happy New Year’s Eve! To wrap up the week-long series about hosting a Chic New Year’s Eve party, I wanted to share the elements needed to create memorable New Year’s Eve photos! Thanks to Jess at The Confetti Bar for collaborating with me on this fun post! To set the mood you need to create a cohesive color theme. We went with Gold + Pink and Black + White.
Throw Confetti! It is always a good idea! The Confetti Bar made me a custom blend.
Start with a fun and fabulous backdrop! I collaborated with The Confetti Bar to style this set that features a faux Deer Head. I painted the antlers gold and after adorning the deer with a Happy NYE tiara and a rose behind his ear, we draped him with garland. Next we added globe lights to make sure we had enough light to take photos and add that bright feeling.
We added some really fun artwork that spoke to New Year’s Eve: “The Best is yet to come,” “Happy,” “Oh what fun” and my personal favorite “Be Wild and FREE.”
Make sure you have party hats, poppers and noise makers.
The most important tip when taking NYE Photos – Have fun and be silly!
Happy New Year’s Eve! See you next year xo
