Madison Beach Hotel Reviews
What started out as a birthday dinner celebration turned into an inspiration for an overnight getaway at the Madison Beach Hotel. It was one of those times when everyone’s schedule jived and we were able to slip away without our husbands and children for some girlfriend bonding. We hopped in the car and within an hour we were standing shoulder to shoulder leaning on the rail of our private balcony. We were taking in the view of the Long Island Sound and shaking our heads in disbelief that this gorgeous hotel was so close to home but made you feel like you were at a resort destination. Talk about feeling completely transported. The atmosphere and charm of this resort set the stage for a very fun and relaxing time. In my opinion, the Madison Beach Hotel is the perfect size. It is large enough to offer many big hotel amenities but not too big where you feel like you can’t get personalized service.
Madison Beach Hotel Reviews
Through clever architecture by Glen & Company Architects each of the 32 rooms has an ocean view with a private deck and chairs. The recipient of numerous awards, the Madison Beach Hotel boosts great dining including “Brunch by the Beach” on Sundays. They offer a full complement of spa services and a fitness room. In the summer months they have water sport activities and a huge fire-pit on the beach for special evening events. As you can imagine it is a very popular place for weddings and has been featured in numerous bridal magazines. Down the road is a quaint downtown area with boutique stores (be sure to stop in RJ Julia’s bookstore) and a little farther down the road is a great outlet mall.
We had such a great experience that we have already booked another girl’s weekend and we are counting the months until we return…

The main entrance of The Madison Beach Hotel
As I was walking down the corridor to our room, I couldn’t help but appreciate the details that went into the extensive restoration that was completed in March 2012. There are windows everywhere and each of the guest room doors have brass shell-shaped door knockers.
When you enter your room you are immediately greeted to a spectacular ocean view.
The rooms are tastefully decorated in the classic navy blue and white nautical theme, and I loved that they used plantation shutters instead of curtains at the double french doors leading outside.
This is the lawn area that precedes the beach.
My sweet husband made arrangements to have a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Champagne sent up to the room within minutes of our arrival. This is part of the great personalized service you can expect, the staff had it perfectly chilled and it was waiting for us. We bundled up in our winter coats and took it out to the balcony and polished it off while the sun was setting.
