Happy Friday and happy first day of spring! I’m drooling over Lilly Pulitzer’s spring arrivals and thinking ahead to a warm and sunny tropical destination for spring break. We are headed to the Bahamas for a much needed family vacation (I’m counting the days until my toes are in the sand) and it’s time to add a few resort-wear pieces. I hang on to my clothes forever and get a lot of mileage from them, but I love picking up a few new things to help freshen the rest of my basic items. New to the spring collection are cozy linen beach pants among other really soft pieces like the Villa Maxi Dress. I’ve picked out my favorites and can’t wait to get them in my suitcase. As much as I love the convenience of on-line shopping, I rarely buy an item of clothing without trying it on and thankfully in Connecticut, we have a few boutiques that stock Lilly Pulitzer. I usually go to Splash of Pink in Westport, CT because in addition to carrying Lilly Pulitzer they stock other fabulous clothing lines that complement each other.
