I thought you might need a gentle reminder that you have today and tomorrow to shop for gifts. Aside from the crowds, there are still plenty of things to feel good about from a selection standpoint. And the sales! Lots of great gifts for amazing prices. I took a stroll in The Westfield Mall in Trumbull, Connecticut and curated a roundup of some of my favorite last-minute gift ideas. There’s a little something in here for everyone! If you are shopping for her, head to Lord & Taylor. Design Lab clothing is fairly new to Lord & Taylor and I love these clothes! They are fashion forward and have an edge to them. I wore Design Lab’s Camo Jacket this summer, click here to see the blog post, and it has been a staple in my wardrobe ever since.
It was so hard to choose just a few piece to highlight, but I’ve been gravitating towards gold and sparkly, and the following pieces caught my eye. Black and gold are so elegant for special occasions.
How cute is this halter dress? High heels and huge earrings and you look like the boss.
I’d wear this star blouse with a skirt or black pants, notice the lace on the bottom.
How adorable is this glittery skirt? I selected this because of the style. It fits flat on the waist and hips and then flairs out. Twirly skirts catch the light when you move. Love.
I have to admit that I’ve never been to LUSH. I could spend hours in this store sampling and playing around. With all the skin cleanser and exfoliating products to test, I left with sweet-smelling silky skin. It’s a fun experience!
Bath Bombs are exploding on the market (sorry, bad pun) they are a great stocking stuffer.
Sex Bomb. I think that they should name their bath bombs after movie stars instead. This would be “Marilyn Monroe.”
This one looks psychedelic and I would call it “Rolling Stones.”
I got a demo of what happens when you drop a bath bomb into water…
Check out all that FIZZ! Who needs water jets?
If you can’t choose which bath bomb to buy, get a book of them. This clever “book” opens up to reveal 12 bath bombs to coincide with the 12 Days of Christmas. That’s something to leap about.
One of LUSH’s best sellers is a face and body cleanser, this one is called Angels on Bare Skin. LUSH’s products are all handmade (I believe in Canada. Eh.)
Some very nice man named Jeffrey made this batch. Hi Jeffrey.
I have no idea what this is. I think it is for the bath or it is a fairy wand. Do not know, but it’s pink and sparkly and had to come home with me.
LUSH’s tagline for the holiday season. I totally agree.
I headed to Denali to check out their warm weather gear.
The ornaments are not for sale.
Everyone loves sunglasses. Slam dunk Ray Ban.
Denali offers a huge selection of outdoor gear and sweaters for men and women and kiddos. The half-zip sweaters for men are very popular.
Have you tried Smartwool socks? I was given a pair and immediately felt the difference between these and cotton socks. Instant warmth and a lot softer. Buy them and you’ll thank me. Socks are a great gift especially when they come in all these fun patterns and colors! It’s okay to take off your shoes when you are sporting these beauties.
Here’s my wish list.
Meet the Merry Makers at the Westfield Mall!
