How to wear thigh high boots
It’s been sooooo cold here in Connecticut and all I want to do is cover myself from head to toe! But, how can we keep warm AND look stylish at the same time? Bring on the thigh high boots! Out of all the different styles of boots, thigh high boots are the most provocative. They can immediately transform a woman’s image from blah to sensational. And while you may think that only a “certain type” of woman can pull these off, I beg to differ. Anyone can wear these boots once you know how to style them. I’ve curated a collection of different outfits to show you how easy it is to rock this boot style – even if you haven’t had any previous experience! As a bonus, they cover more than half your leg and will keep you warm in the frigid temperatures.
When to wear thigh high boots? Thigh high boots are appropriate for almost any occasion from a lunch date to date night. They can be dressed up or down depending on what you pair them with. If you are feeling tempted, but still a little unsure about what to wear with them, a safe bet is to wear them over jeans and pull on a sweater. Just treat them like really tall boots and don’t overthink it.

If you are feeling self confident, these boots look so amazing with a sweater dress and you can get as daring as you want with how much leg you want to show (which depends on the length of the dress of course). These boots are a great addition to your wardrobe to kick it up a notch. Today, I want to pass along from fashion inspo for a few different looks with foundational pieces that you probably already have in your closet.
