Halloween Drinks for Kids

October 26, 2015

Mummy Juice BoxesHappy Monday and yay! Why am I so excited? Because it is Halloween week and I’ve got so many fun posts planned! I can’t wait to share each and every one. A couple weeks ago, I started curating some cute ideas for Halloween and when I saw this Mummy Juice Box, I had to try it! It was super quick and easy and I love how they turned out. If you are hosting a Halloween party or going to a Halloween party and want to bring a treat, this is such a fun way to elevate a juice box. All you need is your favorite juice boxes (I like Nestlé brand), white duck tape, wiggle eyes and a pair of scissors. Below are the step by step instruction and photos.

Let’s be real. If you serve these at a Halloween party all the kids are going to think that you are coolest Mummy. Ever.

First, remove the straw! Then using the entire width of tape, wrap the box until it is entirely covered.

Once you have covered the entire box, add the wiggle eyes. You can use a small drop of glue to adhere them to the tape. Then, cut a length of tape about 12 inches long, then cut the tape into strips. I used tape that was a little less than 2 inches wide, and I cut the strips into thirds. Tip: once you have made the initial cut, rip the tape with your hands to get a jagged edge which more closely resembles real fabric.

Cover the box with the tape that you have ripped into narrower pieces using a criss-cross pattern.
