Happy Friday! After wrapping up some work related projects, I finally took some time off to take care of some housekeeping “things.” Some of these things been on my to do list for weeks, and longer, and have been loudly nagging me. They run the gamut from completing back to school paperwork for my kiddos, ordering velvet fabric for some chairs that I want to slipcover and taking a pile of clothes to my seamstress for various fixes. It feels so great to have them behind me and I’m actually a bit surprised at how much better I feel. I’m realizing that I don’t like having things on my to do list that linger too long. Today, I am starting a new series called Favorite Things, it will be a roundup of my favorite things from the week. I hope that you have a wonderful and relaxing weekend.
