Happy Friday! This morning, Kerry and I attended Catherine’s winter Sing-a-long performance at her school. Honestly, is there anything better than watching a bunch of five-year olds sing with unbridled enthusiasm? It was the cutest way to start off our day. Immediately after the Sing-a-long, we headed to her classroom for their Holiday Party. We surprised the students with a craft to make “magic holiday glitter” slime. You would have thought that we handed them each a warm, soft puppy. They went bananas over it. HERE is a link to my basic slime recipe, just add glitter – and your kiddos will think you are a rock star.
Have you been following along with my Holiday Bucket List Challenge on Instagram? It’s been very fun and I’m so glad that I decided to sign up for it. It’s put me out of my element and inspired me to do things that I wouldn’t normally do. We always welcome the holidays, but this year we feel more in the spirit. Our bucket list highlights this week include making a miniature snowman from our first snowfall of the year and a cheeseburgers and fries picnic in front of the Christmas Tree.
I’ll be back on Monday with last-minute gift ideas and my favorite stocking stuffers! Wishing you a warm and wonderful weekend xo
