Happy Friday! Are you guys feeling ready for Halloween? Only 5 more days to go and I can hardly wait! I’ve included links to my favorite Halloween cocktail, a Halloween Playlist that is guaranteed to get you in the mood, and the most adorable Bat Bite Desserts.
I can’t think of a happier way to kick off my weekend than getting sticky with a bunch of 5 year olds. I will be in Catherine’s classroom today making an autumn-inspired craft. I’m actually trying to replicate a votive that Jackson brought home from school when he was about the same age. We’re going to be covering small glass votives with red, orange and yellow tissue paper using Mod Podge glue. The kiddos can get as creative as they want and apply the tissue paper in one layer or more to make the colors more intense. When parents add a tea light, it resembles stained glass – so pretty!
Over the weekend, I will be working on elements for a Friendsgiving Menu and Tablescape in collaboration with Balducci’s Food Lover’s Market. Since it is less than a month away, chances are you are thinking about Thanksgiving too. If you live in Connecticut or New York, Balducci’s always designs a unique and delicious menu for the holidays. Check out their Thanksgiving menu HERE it’s insanely good and worth a read for inspiration for your own planning purposes.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend xo
