Happy Friday! Looking back on this week and coming to the definite conclusion that it was a blissfully lazy. Kerry left on Monday for a business trip to Chicago and instructed us all to have fun – but not too much. We spent time at the beach and the kiddos caught (and released) an epic amount of hermit crabs. Hundreds, I would guess. It is by far, one of the most fun things to do.
We can spend hours at the beach, there is always so much at our fingertips. Each change of the tide brings new activities. In between crab hunting, sand castle building and swimming, we always run into friends to pass the time with. The concession stand has a full complement of foods that kids love – and it removes all reasons for leaving. The next thing we know, the sun it setting and it’s time to pack up and head home. We wind down all the windows, crank up the radio and let the breeze and songs blow through the car. We are truly in the dog days of summer.
Wishing you a relaxing weekend xo
