Happy Friday! Summer is so close I can practically smell the suntan lotion. Jackson came home from school yesterday and said “My academics are done for the year.” Translation: he and his classmates are coasting through the last days of school. He’ll be cleaning out his locker, giving and getting “HAGS” written on his yearbook (Have A Great Summer) and attending the last field trip of the school year. He’s tired, but happy and I can tell he’s ready for the summer break.

This weekend we’ll be watching Jackson play baseball and celebrating Father’s Day in between games. I think that some people are surprised to learn that baseball is still scheduled, even on Father’s Day. But, here’s the thing. There is no place that Kerry would rather be on Father’s Day than cheering his son from the sidelines.
