| our holiday mantle in pink, cream and mint |
Happy Friday! My BFF and I went on our annual pilgrimage to Michael’s craft store to purchase ribbons and baubles to adorn our wreaths. I wasn’t sure which way to go as far as my theme until I was in the store. We stumbled upon an entire aisle of holiday decor in dreamy pastels and when I realized that everything was 70% off, I couldn’t resist. The past couple of years I’ve taken a departure from the traditional Christmas colors in favor of gold, pinks, creams and mint. I have some more decorating to do this weekend, but I wanted to share how the mantle was coming together.
The rest of the week has been a bit of a whirlwind as we enter the holiday season in full force. We cut down and trimmed our Christmas Tree, I started decorating our home for the holidays, hosted a wreath-making party and wrapped up the week with a wonderful holiday luncheon. Winter weather has arrived, so this weekend I’m looking forward to lighting our first fire, listening to Michael Bublé and sipping a glass of prosecco while I assemble our holiday cards. Whatever you do, I hope you have a wonderful weekend xo

Lastly, a few people have asked me about how to make ornament wreaths (like in the above photo) here is a link to that blog post. It includes step-by-step instructions and photos. It is very easy to make, but takes a bit a time.
