Happy Fri-yay! Now that our summer vacations and girl’s getaway weekends are behind me, I can feel myself settling in for the new fall season. Part of me is nesting and dreaming about circling up by our fireplace and the other part of me is itching to spend as much time as possible outdoors so I don’t miss out on the last warm days. Thankfully, I have plenty of reasons to spend outside. The next few weekends will be spent getting our yard and garden beds trimmed back and re-mulched and of course our house will be completely decked out for Halloween (can’t wait!).

We’ve got some fun plans for this weekend that involve Cards Against Humanity (no kiddos allowed) and the Taste of Fairfield event (kiddos allowed). For my Connecticut readers, if you are looking for something fun to do this Sunday, October 9th, check out the Taste of Fairfield event! Information and tickets can be located by clicking here. It is being held at the Delamar Southport from 1:00-5:00pm rain or shine (they have a tent). General Admission tickets give you access to amazing cuisine by all the tops restaurants in the area. There will be food, cocktails, drinks, crafts and face painting for the kids (under 10 years of age are free) in addition to live music. Hope to see you there! Have a wonderful weekend xo
