Favorite Things by Sarah O’Brien, Founder + Creative Director of Connecticut in Style.
Happy Friday! This past week has been a flurry of back to school activities and we’re looking forward to the long weekend which will be a mashup of different things. We’re having pizza tonight with friends at one of my favorite pizza joints on the Connecticut Coast, The Colony Grill. Thin-crust pizza is all they do (and they are spectacular at it). We continue to make progress with updating our son’s bedroom so that it is more in keeping with his age and personal style (photos soon!). The weather is going to be glorious, so we’ll head to the beach to soak in the last warm days of summer. Next week, among other things, I will share step-by-step instructions on how to make a beaded tassel necklace that will bring a forgotten item of clothing back to life. I hope that you have a wonderful Labor Day weekend. I’ll be back on Tuesday with new content!
