Favorite Things
We had lots to celebrate this week. In addition to my Mom’s Birthday, the highlight from my week is that my son’s baseball team, led by his father/manager, won their championship! Thirteen families spent the better half of the summer together cheering on the boys from the sidelines. It was truly a team effort, every player made a contribution towards getting the team to the top seed and then winning the final game. We ended the season with an impressive record of 14-1-1. The boys have their trophies, but more importantly, they have wonderful memories of being on a team that worked so hard towards accomplishing a common goal. With baseball over, we have our sights set on taking a summer vacation before school gets in session. We are headed to the Outer Banks, N.C. for the first time and I would love any tips and advice on what to do while we’re there! Have a great weekend xo
