Happy Fri-yay! One of the very best parts of my week was getting an unexpected text with a gorgeous photo of my friend, Cara, and her daughter taken with the floral crown Snapchat filter. The image conveys so much about the special bond that mothers have with their girls and I haven’t stopped thinking about it. When I saw the photo with the flower crowns, I immediately thought about goddesses. There’s an ethereal quality to this Snapchat filter that I love. Cara inspired me to take one of me and Catherine and then I coaxed a few more friends to text me similar photos that I want to share today.

Snapchat is one of my favorite apps, I get downright silly whenever I use it. My friends are such good sports and indulge me when I pull out my iPhone and insist on trying new filters.
