| what are the chances of a red, white and blue sunset before the July 4th fireworks? |
Happy Friday! This was a big week for Connecticut in Style guys! After wrapping up a week long series dedicated to fun and festive July 4th ideas, I was invited to do a segment on News 8 WTNH Connecticut on DIY Crafts for Kids for the July 4th holiday. I wish I could find the words to tell you how amazing, smart and funny my “co-host” Sam Kantrow is. Many of you know Sam as one of the meteorologists for News 8. However, he also interviews guests, especially when food is involved. I love to cook and he loves to eat, so we’re a match made in Heaven. We taped on Saturday and it aired on Sunday, July 4th. If you missed the broadcast and are interested in watching it, I’ve included a link below.

Clicking on the link will take you to the wtnh.com website and you’ll see the image of the S’Mores Dip. Click on the large white arrow on the lower left to play the video. Here are links to the S’Mores Dip recipe and the Patriotic Mason Jar Lanterns that I blogged about last week.
I’ve also included some pics from the fireworks celebration at the beach. Have a great weekend xo
