Happy Friday! After the Tuesday morning announcement of the Fresh Flower Bar, my new floral design studio, I felt like I could finally catch my breath. If you only knew how many obstacles were thrown in front of me over the past two weeks (aka crunch time) it’s an effing miracle that I launched my new business on the first day of spring.
The first thing I did on Tuesday morning (after seeing if anyone ordered flowers, they did!) was to take a yoga class. My shoulders were up around my ears and I was emotionally drained. Getting back on my mat was exactly what I needed to twist out every ounce of tension in my body. When I watched my sweat plopping onto the floor (sorry, TMI?) I knew that I was wrung out properly.
The rest of the week was dedicated to adopting to a new routine, and gratefully, everything went as planned. It felt so great to be “out of the gate” and on my way. I’d like to take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone who took the time to say “Congratulations” or “Good Luck” across our shared social media channels. I read each and every comment as they rolled in during the day and they meant more to me than you will ever know!
