Happy Friday! I’m back in the saddle after taking my first real break from blogging last week, and I have to say that I missed it! Not blogging felt like I was holding my breath. I take in so many things that I want to share, and Connecticut in Style is my exhale.
We’re looking forward to “Dada” coming home after a week-long business trip, preparing for a snow storm that is supposed to start tonight and our almost 4-year old daughter’s ballet recital on Sunday afternoon that is sure to be the most adorable thing I’ve ever seen. Have a wonderful weekend!

{a former work associate sent me this book he wrote Are You a “Blue” Berry? It’s a charming book that helps children begin color recognition by using real fruit images and promotes incorporating fruit in your diet. 100% of all proceeds are donated to programs and schools to help educate children about healthy eating choices. Here is a link to their Facebook page for more information}
