by Jenn, a first time wreath maker – a coastal wreath with starfish, pine cones and a hint of glitter
Happy Friday! My dining room is covered in broken ornaments, pine needles and glitter. And it makes me so happy. It is the aftermath of a really fun party where a crew of ladies from the Junior League of Eastern Fairfield County came to make holiday wreaths to adorn their homes. What started as a 3 hour party, went late into the evening as we sipped French 75’s (my signature cocktail), nibbled on appetizers, chatted and glued and wired to our heart’s content. We collaborated, exchanged opinions and swapped ornaments, made bows, and undid and redid until we were happy with the final result. The best part of the evening for me was seeing the apprehension of non-DIYers melt away as they transformed bare evergreen wreaths into something festive and fabulous for their home and earned bragging rights to say “I made this.” Till next year ladies!

by Lauren, she’s on her third tour this year – she’s fearless
by Sonal, a proclaimer non-DIYer, but she clearly knows what she’s doing
by Jennie, she went for a funky-retro wreath and I simply love it
by Melissa, she went with a monogram and a fun mix of traditional holiday elements!
