CT in Style – A Connecticut-based lifestyle blog by Sarah O’Brien
With warm weather finally here to stay, I love to dine al fresco with friends – and they love it too. Recently, a group of us gathered at my friend Lisa’s home for a book club dinner and as I turned the corner to walk down to her sunken patio – I swear my heart skipped a beat. The multi-talented Lisa (aka Lisa, The Domestic Diva) had assembled the most delightful atmosphere for an outdoor dinner. She set the most gorgeous table, it was total eye candy! The view from her formal dining room gave me the perfect angle to take some quick snapshots with my iPhone. Everything was color coordinated with vibrant turquoise, pink, and touches of chartreuse all set against a vivid white table. It reminded me of Miami, and it was just too pretty not to share. Lisa cleverly strung lights around the perimeter of the striped umbrella to illuminate the table. And, as the sun set that evening, the tea lights on the table and the lights around the umbrella made everything sparkle.
