Happy first day of October! A little buzz is starting to take place about Halloween costumes and which characters our kiddos are thinking about. Our son was 7 months old for his first Halloween and as new parents we totally wanted to indulge in finding the cutest costume for him. Many of the costumes I saw for his age were just smaller versions of typical costumes and not designed for a baby in mind. Then I found Tom Arma’s line of animal costumes that are perfect for babies and toddlers. They consist of a bodysuit, booties, and a headpiece with a velcro closure that goes under the chin. I can’t say enough great things about this line of costumes. They tick all the checkmarks when it comes to comfort, quality, warmth, sizing and CUTENESS!
The other aspect of these costumes that I really appreciate is the materials that were chosen for each character. You can tell that a lot of thought went into picking materials that would closely reflect the real animal. As you scroll through the photos you’ll see what I mean, I especially love the elephant and owl costumes, genius!
Below is a roundup of some of my favorites, click here to see the entire line. They do sell out, so if you are interested I wouldn’t hesitate. I’ve also included a couple photos of my kiddos. We kept Jackson’s Tom Arma Siberian Tiger costume and when it was time for Catherine’s first Halloween 8 years later, she wore it. I can’t believe how much they look alike. And P.S. take this as a sign of true friendship that I am actually sharing the fact that I had the same furniture and pillows for 8 years (thankfully, our living room has had a much needed makeover). Happy shopping!
