When I launched Connecticut in Style a little over a year ago, I was blogging purely to satisfy my need to have a creative outlet to share ideas and inspiration regarding our chic part of the New England coast. I knew that I wanted to share my discoveries of the CT lifestyle as I scouted about to find the people, places and on trend fashion that define this area. Over the past year, one of the things that has clearly emerged is Connecticut’s uniqueness when it comes to the fashion industry and my blog is happily along for the ride. Our little state, nestled on the Long Island Sound and only an hour north of the city, continues to be a sought after destination by some of the leaders in the fashion world. Last week, I was invited to the Greenwich Avenue opening of COS, a European-based brand owned by the H&M label to represent CT Fashion Bloggers.

Upon arriving, I was greeted by an impeccably dressed staff and given a personal tour of the new store, which has been carefully designed to emanate the vibe of an art gallery to exhibit their gorgeous clothes. Within minutes, I absolutely fell in love with the brand for the level of quality in design, construction and fabrics and for the very attainable price point. After trying on some pieces, I left with a few items that I can’t wait to blog about in the coming weeks. I’ve included photos of the brand new store for my Connecticut readers to give you a preview of what you can expect. And of course, COS sells online, so no worries if you don’t live near one of their stores. I’ve curated some of my favorite pieces for women and if you have kiddos, their children’s line is totally adorable!
