Connecticut Bloggers – Happy Monday! I wanted to start this week with eye candy. This Sugar Stack Ring from Tiffany is so pretty and comes in several eye-catching colors that look good enough to eat. There is nothing like getting a blue box from Tiffany. That little box is both powerful and mysteriously attractive, because you know something special is inside. The last thing I received from Tiffany was at my baby shower 3 years ago, it was a silver comb for our daughter, Catherine. The comb is as strong as it looks and the pink tassel softens it by giving it a very feminine touch. It is a timeless gift that I know she’ll cherish.
Tiffany was founded in 1837 and has such an interesting story and legacy to maintain. Amazingly, they continue to thrive by carefully adding relevant pieces to their collection and used a recent milestone anniversary to do a bit of rebranding. After being in business for over one hundred and seventy-five years, Tiffany launched their Tiffany “T” and called it “an icon for a new era.” I’ve noticed companies moving towards using just their initials to represent their business and incorporating their initials in their products. Below is one of my favorite pieces from their Tiffany T collection.
While Tiffany is not reinventing their image, I have noticed that some of their jewelry has an urban feel. It is edgy and provocative and it reminds me of armor. Go into battle beautifully.
