Chambray Shirt Connecticut in style
We are gearing up for our family vacation next week and I’m already making mental notes about what to pack and what to wear on the days we are traveling to and from our destination. The weather in Connecticut is finally warming up, but it is still in the 50’s and it will be chilly when we leave in the morning. I always feel challenged to find an outfit to wear that can transition well and won’t look wrinkled when I travel. I think I have found the perfect outfit that can take me effortlessly from cool weather to warm weather and still look presentable after planes, trains and automobiles. It needs to be comfortable and Chambray tops are so soft and chic that I am going to pair it with white denim jeans and a statement necklace from J Crew. The necklace has a lot of bling, but wearing it on the inside of the shirt will give just a hint of glamour without being flashy and helps elevate the denim. I’m always cold when I travel on airplanes, so a lightweight jacket is a must. Once we arrive in the warm weather, I’ll either roll up the sleeves or tuck the jacket away in my carry-on.
