Do you ever have those days when you feel that you have literally not stopped moving? Have them all the time do you? Yep, me too. Days like that are tricky, sometimes you’ve been moving so much because you are in gather and purge mode in an effort to streamline, de-clutter to get more organized which you think will get you more time in the long run. But all that gathering and purging creates a multitude of little tasks like the photograph you love but you can’t hang because the frame needs to be repaired or replaced. Or those awesome pants that you can rock like no one’s business, but have never worn because they are too long and you just need to remember to get them hemmed.
The piles of “things to do” accumulate on my dining table and my decision making skills begin to resemble that of a squirrel when crossing the street. When I start feeling like that, I need to get into bed – preferably with food. Breakfast in bed with the New York Times is just about the most decadent thing I can do while not on vacation. And when my daughter joins in…it’s heaven.
