I am so excited to collaborate with paperless post, all opinions are my own
Hi friends – especially the ones in Connecticut! I’m so thrilled about the Fresh Flower Bar launch party this Thursday! If you live in Connecticut and have time, please stop into my floral studio located at 11 Unquowa Road in Fairfield, Connecticut. We’re having an Open House on Thursday, June 28th from 6:00pm – 9:00pm with champagne, cake, great music – and of course fresh flowers. I’ll be busy making hand-tied floral arrangements that will be my gift to you (as long as supplies last!).
One of the coolest parts of my location is sharing it with No. 299! Fresh Flower Bar is a “pop-up” inside a larger store that is filled from floor to ceiling (not kidding) with gifts and goods that will inspire you. So, in addition to sipping bubbly, you can browse and shop to your heart’s delight. No. 299 carries something for everyone including Two Oh Three products, candles, jewelry, pillows, vintage finds, large clocks and compass roses, word art and “the” FAIRFIELD poster (click HERE to see the photo of this awesome poster) that is restocked weekly. I think it is becoming an icon.
During the party we’ll have some raffles. I’ve always wanted a letter board (like the one below), and I picked up a few as raffle prizes. No. 299 will also be raffling a basket of goodies from the store. No purchase necessary for the raffles.
Can we talk about the launch party invitation? Talk about pretty! I got so many compliments about the design. I’ve used Paperless Post many times in the past because I love the selection. There are literally thousands of invitations to choose from, and the filtering option makes it a breeze to narrow down your selection.
When it came time to selecting the invitation to my launch party, I just typed “flower” in the SEARCH box and got over 300 stunning options to browse through. Below are the other designs that I was considering:
| love the pink peony and how this matched the logo wall in my studio |
| on the other end of the spectrum is this dark and moody design that reminds me of still life |
Ultimately, I chose a very bright and happy floral design with lots of peonies because they are one of my favorite flowers and they are still in season! Hint: a few might find their way into the arrangements!
