The Best Natural Foot Cream

The Best Natural Foot Cream

thank you to Bétèrre for sponsoring this post, all opinions are my own.

Now or later, please take a moment out of your Monday to check out these Instagram photos that the celebs posted to their feed for the Golden Globes last night. Some of the beauty prep work is hilarious!

We were treated to a beautiful snowy weekend in Connecticut that we absolutely loved! It was very cold though and when the temps are in the teens, we stay close to home. For the most part, we hung out by the fire and snuggled up to watch some movies. It was lazy and I soaked up every minute of it. On Sunday, the weather warmed up enough for Kerry to take the kiddos sledding, and I totally took advantage of some free Mommy time to treat myself to some mini home beauty treatments.

I restarted my yoga practice this summer, and one of the first things I did was to make sure that my feet were presentable. I wrote a blog post about the secret to baby soft feet, and it is a routine that I’ve kept to. I blogged about the fact that I use a product called Silk Feet to remove any dry skin, and follow with lotion. I was using anything that I had on hand because I thought that all body creams were created equally. And, because the cream was going on my feet, I really didn’t think it mattered.

The Best Natural Foot Cream

It seems obvious now, but at the time it didn’t occur to me that our feet take some of the worse beating – and therefore, should have some of the best care. I change up my winter skincare routine and also take extra steps with my hair, feet and hands. One of the best ways I have found to keep my feet soft and supple, is to use a luxurious foot cream. I’ve recently been introduced to Bétèrre rescue me foot cream and love the results. It is an intensive treatment, specialized for calluses and dry heels. It leaves my feet incredibly smooth (like a baby’s bum) and is a smart solution for our cold, harsh winters. I love the fact that it is all natural and cruelty-free. There’s a great story behind the entire line of this skin + care solution that I’ve included at the end of this post.

| Bétèrre SKIN + CARE rescue me foot cream and botanical hair tamer |

I tested the botanical hair tamer as well, and the best way I can describe it is to call it a sealer. It completely protects every strand of my hair and transforms it from being dry and frizzy to sleek and shiny. I plan to show some before and after photos of my hair with the tamer on it in another post. Until then, have a great Monday. See you tomorrow!

Bétèrre Skin+Care is a non-toxic skin care line created by former chef and cancer survivor Gina Maisano in hopes to revolutionize the beauty industry.  They just launched its 12 product, a nature-based beauty line. With products ranging from all-in-one facial cleansers and hydrating hand lotions to rejuvenating foot creams, Bétèrre “Better from the Earth” the team has created a versatile product line that is suitable for all ages. Using a plethora of natural botanicals and minerals, Bétèrre hopes to counteract the negative connotation consumers have with chemical cosmetic ingredients that are rampant within beauty industry.

Founded by the inspiring Gina Maisano, an author, entrepreneur, philanthropist and breast cancer survivor, the line was first conceptualized in Gina’s kitchen in 2002 while she was undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2001. Gina was in need of products that would help ease the side effects she was experiencing from her treatment, and as a former chef, known for her innovative cuisine, she was well versed in finding and blending beautiful ingredients to maximize their potential.

After two bouts with cancer, Maisano took inventory of her life and realized the importance of not only monitoring what she put into her body, but what she applied onto it as well. She consulted with the two physicians from Northwell Health who performed her reconstructive surgery after her double mastectomy, Dr. Ron Israeli and Dr. Randall Feingold, who became an integral part of the development of Bétèrre. For three years Gina worked alongside a botanical chemist to create what has now become Bétèrre Skin+Care.

“We as a society are so conscious about the ingredients in things we put into our bodies but we neglect to focus on the everyday things we put on our skin,” stated Bétèrre founder Gina Maisano. “I started Bétèrre to offer consumers access to the finest ingredients nature has to offer for their skin and hair so they will see results without harming their bodies” she continued.

The line is made from garden grown ingredients including shea butter, jojoba oil, lavender, soy, marigold, chamomile and more, the 12 product skin and hair care line includes:

· Deep Moisture Repair for Face – Transforms and rejuvenates dry, stressed skin
· Balancing Face Serum – Hydrates, relieves and repairs stressed, combination skin
· Refining Eye Serum – Hydrates and corrects the delicate skin around the eye while fighting puffiness and dark circles
· All-In-One Facial Cleanser – Complete cleansing in one luxurious step
