You’re in for a treat today! I’ve been dying to blog about pretty food that I’m discovering on Instagram. I didn’t even go looking for it, but every now and then I get lost down the Instagram rabbit hole. It typically happens when someone I am following regrams from a foodie account and then I check out the account and then I check out the accounts that they follow. You never know where it will lead.
My first obsession is discovering new fashion and interior design accounts. But. The. Food. Porn. Some of the prettiest food I have ever seen is on instagram! They say we eat with our eyes first. I couldn’t agree more.
As a relativity new blogger and a budding photographer, following these accounts has been super helpful for me. I have learned so much about food styling and feel so inspired to improve my own photos.
I’ve also learned that it is important to tag the brands behind the labels I use. Many times, the brand has a community manager (that’s code for the person that manages a company’s outreach) and someone may reply back if I have tagged them in a post. Sometimes it’s just a “Yum!” but it’s a small thrill when one of my photos actually gets regrammed.
For example, this spring I blogged about a recipe for a Gin Gin Mule. I used Hendrick’s Gin in this cocktail and tagged Hendricks in my post. A couple months later, they contacted me for permission to use the photo I took on their Instagram feed. It is one of their most “loved” posts with over 3,000 likes – so exciting!

Many of the Instagram food handles that I am sharing today are clean-eating, healthy and vegan, some are not. I’ve selected them based on the pure artistry of their food styling.
Prettiest Food on Instagram
Here are some of the prettiest food on Instagram with a direct link to each account below each screen grab. I totally recommend clicking on these links and exploring their feed some more. It’ll blow you away. Be sure to check out Little Miss Bento’s feed, she’s the second photo below. She painted a tiger in yogurt. Imagine getting that for breakfast.
