Mother’s Day will be here before you know it and I wanted to put together a Mother’s Day Gift Guide so you could start shopping now. If you wait until next week, you run the risk of not getting an item in time – and I would hate for that to happen.
I’m really excited about this gift guide! I selected items that I would personally love to receive (aka the items on MY lust list). Most of the things included are really fun and light hearted, and some pack a lot of style and sentiment.
On the top of my list is the Cult GAIA handbag (included below). These acrylic arc bags come in several different colors including a natural bamboo/wicker color. They are the “it” fashion accessory this season. I’ve also added my new personal favorite beauty product, a couple pieces of jewelry (one that I bought as a gift for a friend), and some charming items for the home. The prices start at less than $15.00, however, I did include a couple big splurge gifts for those women who are celebrating an extra special Mother’s Day.
Whether you are shopping for your mother, sister, grandmother, or wife, this Mother’s Day Gift Guide 2017 has something for everyone. Happy Shopping!
MOTHER’S DAY GIFT GUIDE 2017
Love these sunnies! Mirrored, cat-eye, oversized sunglasses are so on trend right now.
A stellar gift. Give her the moon and the stars. All over again.
A page turning psychological thriller, I could not not put it down! It’s a #1 NYT Best Seller that has been made into a movie. I’ll break it down for you. Buy her the book and after she finishes the book take her to dinner at her favorite restaurant and to see the movie. It’s a 3 for one gift. Like a trifecta.
I purchased this exact necklace for a friend of mine. What I love about them is that they are asymmetrical. The letter lays on an angle.
If you want to be a ROCK STAR, this is the “must have” handbag this season. It’s the most sought-after bag on the market right now and ideal for the upcoming summer months. It comes in several different colors. She’ll kiss you on the lips.
Speaking of lips, I’ve been obsessing over Farsali Rose Gold Elixir ever since I stumbled across one of the most gorgeous and hilarious makeup artists on Instagram. Farah Dhukai is an exotic beauty and has gained a massive Instagram following with 5.4 Million followers in addition to her YouTube stardom. She gives the best makeup tips using traditional cosmetics and home remedies that she whips up on her stove. She’s totally self-deprecating and instantly loveable. She launched her own vegan skincare line called Farsali Care and one of the products that I can’t get enough of is the Farsali Rose Gold Elixir. I was up late one night and was watching her mini videos and she kept dripping oil over her lips and rubbing the oil in before applying lipstick. The elixir can be used on the face and neck as well, but I like the way it keeps my lipstick from drying out. Made from Rosehip seed oil, it is super hydrating, but doesn’t feel greasy. They even sprinkle in real 24K gold flecks to make your skin more radiant. Here’s my idea: buy one for the woman you are shopping for and one for yourself!
In addition to my pineapple collection (I really have to stop) I’m becoming increasingly attracted to cactus. It’s weird. I don’t know why I like them. They are sincerely dangerous and should be used with extreme caution if there are small children or pets in the house. If a real cactus isn’t practical, how about these adorable cactus candles? They are an unexpected and totally fun gift to give to someone who appreciates a little whimsy in her life!
This needs a spot in the bedroom. It’s sweet and romantic and will remind her that she’s the heart and soul of the family. It can be placed on top of a dresser, tucked in among books on a shelf, or claim a permanent place on the bedside table. It’s pretty lit up in pink or unlit as a little piece of sculpture.
Stylish to wear, easy to slip on and she’ll feel very cool. Plus, the words ALL-STAR are written right there on the sneaker for your all star. Win. win.
This is the perfect addition to anyone’s wardrobe. A simple, but elegant off-the-shoulder top that’s in vogue but timeless at the same time.
