Christmas in Connecticut

December 5, 2019Personal Posts

Christmas in ConnecticutFew things are more alluring than Christmas in Connecticut and I have the stats to prove it. Today’s post is about how I drew over 1 Million views a month to a simple Pinterest Board. There is no doubt that Connecticut represents iconic New England Style. What’s especially interesting, is that for such a small state, we have a very distinctive image that is unparalleled in the Northeast. It’s safe to say we live in a special spot on planet Earth.  Connecticut’s geography is so unique because it boasts the ability to indulge in practically anything from summer to winter sports and an overnight to the city – all within a short drive. It’s no wonder why so many people look to emulate our Chic Coastal vibe.

I have always known that Connecticut’s style is unrivaled, so a few years ago, I started a Pinterest Board called Christmas in Connecticut. I would occasionally “pin” photos of people, places and things that represent what makes Connecticut so special. Even today, as I am about to publish this post, I am staring at the most gorgeous view. We got snow! Every home and tree has been dusted with beautiful white snow and it looks like a winter wonderland.

I am not the only person enamored by our little coastal county. Recently, the interest in Connecticut has snowballed. Rumors are flying about Tom Brady (New England Patriots) and Gisele Bündchen (Super Model) touring homes for sale in Greenwich, CT. If they do move to Connecticut, they will join an A-List of other celebrities that call it home.

Christmas in Connecticut

I’ve noticed that my Pinterest Account is drawing a lot of attention and it feels surreal to be typing these words…but I’ve amassed over 1 Million views a month on my Christmas in Connecticut Pinterest Board. Mind you, the vast majority of these photos are not mine. My Pinterest Board was just intended to be a place for me to collect ideas and inspiration for my blog, CT in Style. Whether it’s the celebrity gossip or because it’s a playground for all interests and ages, Connecticut’s allure is seductive.

Below are some of my favorite images from my Pinterest Board, click HERE to see the entire board – preferably with a cup of hot chocolate (Whipped Hot Chocolate Recipe HERE) or a glass of wine.
