10 Insanely Beautiful Thanksgiving Tablescapes

With Thanksgiving soon approaching I am dreaming about what my Thanksgiving Tablescape could look like. Here is a link to the tablescape that I did last year in my home. I wanted something that glittered!

I’ve rounded up 10 insanely beautiful Thanksgiving Tablescapes in case you are looking for some ideas and inspiration. A couple of these table settings feature pumpkins that have been painted with chalk paint, so if you have any leftover pumpkins from Halloween that you have no plans to use for pumpkin pie or to make roasted pumpkin seeds, grab a paint brush. It’s the hottest trend this season.

With the exception of fresh flowers, I encourage you not to buy anything special for your Thanksgiving table. Just decide on a theme (hopefully one of the ideas below will help seal your decision) and then start “shopping” in your own home.

I love using a white linen tablecloth to anchor the composition. Starting with a clean slate declutters your mind and makes it easier to layer elements. If you don’t have a table runner, go into your closet and use one of your scarves as a topper. Plaid is having a moment this year, and it goes with everything! Chances are that your plaid scarf contains colors that you love, which means that you probably have glassware, plates and dishes in the same color family.

No time? Not feeling crafty? No worries. One of the simplest ways to decorate your Thanksgiving Table is to use a Hurricane Lantern. Get three glass lanterns, add a candle and then head outside to find some beautiful leaves to put around the base of the candle. If you want more light, several votives dotted along the table will create a cozy atmosphere that you and your dinner companions will love.
